Hawzah News Agency- The event, held at the Khatam al-Nabiyyin School in Quetta, drew a gathering of scholars, thinkers, and political and religious figures. It was convened both to honor Imam Khomeini's legacy and to express solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian nation.
Among the prominent attendees were Seyyed Abolhassan Miri, Director-General of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Cultural House; Hojatoleslam Maqsood Ali Domki, a senior member of Pakistan's Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen; and Soheil Akbar Shirazi, head of the party's Baluchistan chapter.
Speakers paid tribute to the late Imam's personality, intellectual depth, and revolutionary spirit, underscoring his unparalleled role in restoring Islamic identity, awakening Muslim nations, and confronting the global system of domination.
Addressing the gathering, Hojatoleslam Zulfiqar Ali Saeedi, provincial head of the Baluchistan Ulema Council of the Ahl al-Bayt school, declared that Imam Khomeini presented a successful and practical model of Islamic governance to the world, inspired by the Holy Quran and the tradition of the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
"Imam Khomeini proved that Islam possesses the complete capacity to administer society and meet the demands of the modern era," Saeedi stated. "His vision, insight, courage, and steadfastness remain a beacon for the Islamic Ummah and a source of inspiration for all free nations."
The Pakistani scholar further emphasized that defending the rights of the Palestinian people and standing against occupation and oppression constitute one of the most vital teachings of Imam Khomeini's school of thought—a doctrine that continues to resonate powerfully among Muslim nations and freedom-seekers worldwide. He noted that the Imam revived the culture of resistance across the Muslim world by championing the oppressed and defying the arrogant powers, transforming support for Palestine into a central pillar of Islamic discourse.
Participants echoed these sentiments, stressing the urgent need to preserve Islamic unity, uphold the Palestinian cause, and continue the path of resistance against global arrogance and injustice, drawing strength from the enduring legacy of the founder of the Islamic Revolution.
